Kasandra Mata is a sophomore studying Radio-Television-Broadcasting. A California native, Mata served on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps for six years. After being honorably discharged, Mata moved to San Antonio to start a new chapter with her german shepherd Benji and pursue her education.
