Gissela is a multimedia journalist at San Antonio College. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Techniques (2006) from Universidad Cuauhtémoc in Mexico. She has experience in radio broadcasting, investigative journalism, and photojournalism for the Autonomous University of Puebla. Winner of the State Award for Traditional Black-and-White Photography at the Amado Nervo Festival (2017). After a hiatus to pursue other professional projects, she has resumed her career in Texas and is now on the Sundial at SAC.
