A driver hit a woman with his SUV in front of the Fletcher Administration building at 1 p.m. Monday.
The identity of the driver and victim are not known at this time, but officers from the San Antonio Police Department are investigating the incident.
“We don’t know if there was a medical episode on behalf of the driver; we don’t know if there were some intoxicating factors. That’s being investigated,” an SAPD officer told a Sundial contributor at the scene.

According to an SAPD press release, when officers arrived, they found a vehicle crashed into a pedestrian, and the vehicle was on top of the pedestrian. The vehicle was removed, and the victim, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries to her extremities, is being treated at a local hospital.
The SAPD release also said, “The driver will face criminal charges but has not been arrested at this time.”
