San Antonio College students, staff and faculty members joined other Bexar County residents, lining up outside SAC’s Victory Center Monday and Tuesday to cast their ballots in the 2024 general election.
The Victory Center is one of the dozens of early voting locations serving Bexar County residents.
Early voting poll locations opened Monday at 8 a.m., and early voting will continue through Nov. 1 at 8 p.m.
“Don’t be afraid to come out here and vote,” Julia Rader, a SAC clerk helping with the voting process, told the Sundial. “Everybody is really friendly here and eager to help.”
Rader said 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. is the quickest time of day, with an average wait time of 20 to 30 minutes.
“Our vote counts in this important election,” Bexar County native and retiree Augustin Benson Jr. told the Sundial. “This is the most important election I’ve been a part of.”
Registered voters can vote at any early-voting poll location from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 21-25; 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 26; noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 27; and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 28 – Nov. 1.
